Sutra

I was heading to the Fitness First outlet in The Curve after work to check out the facility as I contemplated re-joining the gym. My first visit to the outlet was couple of years ago when it first opened and I can't really recall . Adrian was on leave and was at having a ball watching movies at Cineleisure. We decided to do dinner at Sutra since I enjoyed Thai cuisine very much and we had not tried the food there.

Right at the entrance to Sutra were three wood panel carvings and they were beautiful.

Two wall panels were filled with little compartments where each laid a statue of Buddha in meditating position.

The interior of Sutra exuded a warm and relaxing ambience that would get diners to feel at ease and enjoy their food.

Mango salad was good, with spiciness and sourness that were just nice to the tastebuds.
Seafood tom yum was well flavoured, with good level spiciness and sourness. It would have been a lot better had the sliced fish were more fresh.

Pineapple fried rice was served in a half sliced whole pineapple skin with quite large prawns, loads of raisins and cashew nuts and topped with deep-fried sausages and freshly cut cucumbers. Tasty and well-flavoured.

Beef noodles was quite good, served with loads of vegetables.
